Redmi Note 11 series:
On 26th Jan 2022, Xiaomi officially announced Redmi Note 11 series in international markets. This series includes- Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11S, and Redmi Note 11.
Let’s talk about the specs individually-
Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G- is powered by Snapdragon 695 and architecture of 6nm technology. This chipset offers 5G connectivity. 120Hz, 6.67” FHD+ AMOLED. Rear camera- 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera and front camera- 16MP in-display front camera. 5,000mAh battery which supports 67W wired turbocharging. RAM- LPDDR4X.
Redmi Note 11 Pro- is powered by MediaTek Helio G96 and architecture of 6nm technology. 120Hz, 6.67” FHD+ AMOLED (Same as Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G). Rear camera- 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, 2MP depth camera and front camera- 16MP in-display front camera. 5,000mAh battery which supports 67W wired turbocharging. RAM- LPDDR4X.
Redmi Note 11S- is powered by MediaTek Helio G96. 90Hz, 6.43” FHD+ AMOLED. Rear camera- 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, 2MP depth camera and front camera- 16MP in-display front camera. 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W wired pro fast charging. RAM- LPDDR4X.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11S come in three variants – 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. Redmi Note 11 comes in three variants – 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB.
Micromax IN Note 2:
Micromax has recently launched its new smartphone named Micromax IN Note 2. Let’s talk about its specs- it is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, runs on Android 11, a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Quad rear camera- 48MP+5MP+2MP+2MP and 16MP punch hole style selfie camera.
Micromax IN Note 2 is packed with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It comes in only one variant i.e 4GB+64GB costs 12,490/-.
Google:
Google has invested $1 billion in Bharti Airtel to buy a 1.28% stack for the India Digitization Fund. The deal includes Google investing $700 million to acquire 1.28% ownership in Airtel and up to $300 million towards potential multi-year commercial agreements. In 2020, Google invested in Jio around Rs 33,737/- to buy a 7.73% stack.
Color OS + Oxygen OS:
After merging the two biggest BBK companies- OPPO and OnePlus, it is speculated that OnePlus will come up with a new OS “H2O OS” which is a mixer of Color OS and Oxygen OS. The compatible phones will receive the H20 OS update. However, OnePlus has got received 11.1.8.8 Click here to know more. There’s no word on when this will happen. OnePlus might announce some details at the OnePlus 10 Pro‘s global launch.
Trai:
On the 27th of Jan, The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) said “Every telecom service provider shall offer at least one plan voucher, one special tariff voucher, and one combo voucher having a validity of thirty days”. So from this statement, all the plans that are of 28 days will be changed 30 days. That’s because they are receiving tons of complaints from customers that they have to do 13 recharges in a year for a monthly plan.
OnePlus:
OnePlus has confirmed that they will be launching two major flagship smartphones i.e the OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus CE 2 5G. These phones will be launched by February. Let’s talk about their expected specs-
OnePlus Nord 2T- will be powered with MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. 6.43-inch 90Hz display, Oxygen OS 12 based on Android 12, 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP telephoto. 4500mAh with 80W fast charging.
OnePlus CE 2 5G- will be powered with MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. 6.43-inch AMOLED 90Hz display, Oxygen OS 12 based on Android 12, 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. 4500mAh with 65W fast charging.
