The processor is the central hub of a smartphone, It is responsible for most of the functioning of a phone. If you are looking for speed and performance, then make sure your smartphone has the best one of the chipsets. The more your processor is capable of, the more you’re likely to enjoy your mobile performance.
The Snapdragon 765G SoC is based on 7nm architecture, 64-bit octa-core processor that includes one Kryo 475 Prime (Cortex-A76) clocked at 2.4GHz, one Kryo 475 Gold (Cortex-A76) clocked at 2.2GHz and six Kryo 475 Silver (Cortex-A55) clocked at 1.8GHz. MediaTek Dimensity 1000 has (4x performance) arm Cortex – A77 clocked at 2.6 GHz and (4x efficiency) arm cortex – A55 at 2.0 GHz.
The Snapdragon 765G is the first 7-series platform to support Adreno 620 Updateable GPU drivers which can support display’s upto 120Hz refresh rate. whereas, MediaTek Dimensity 1000 have the support of new-generation Mali-G77 MP9 GP which enables upto Full HD+ 144Hz of refresh rate in the latest flagship smartphones.
RAM AND STORAGE:-
Snapdragon 765G can support upto LPDDR4X 12GB only and when it comes to the RAM speed, it can prop-up upto 2133MHZ, which gears up the system performance. Talking about storage, it provides EMMC 5.1, UFS 2.1, 2.2. MediaTek Dimensity 1000 supports 4-channel LPDDR4X memory with a maximum of upto 16GB of RAM and talking about the RAM Speed MediaTek supports upto 1866MHz, which is quite slow as compared to Snapdragon 765G. It provides storage similar to Snapdragon 765G, EMMC 5.1, UFS 2.1, UFS2.2 and UFS 3.0 which is not confirmed in Snapdragon 765G.
In terms of camera, Snapdragon 765G can prop-up a single camera upto 36 Megapixel MFNR ZSL at 30fps and 192 Megapixel and 22 + 22 Megapixel dual-camera configuration. MediaTek Dimensity 1000 supports 80MP single camera sensor at 24fps along with a range of multi-camera options such as 32MP+16MP dual cameras.
Snapdragon 765G supports 4K HDR video capture at 60 FPS, portrait mode and supports HEVC Codec that is H.265, H.264 (AVC), VP8, VP9 playback. MediaTek Dimensity 1000 also supports 4K HDR video recording at 60fps and supports H264, HEVC, and VP9.
Snapdragon 765G supports QHD+ display at 60HZ refresh rate (1440×3360p) and HDR & FULL HD+ at 120HZ (2520×1080p), it supports HDR10&10+ and color depth upto 10-bit. MediaTek Dimensity 1000 supports highest refresh rate 144Hz(as of writing this article)which means this can display 2.4 times smoother than an ordinary 60Hz panel. This processer supports Full HD+(1080×2520) at 90Hz.
Snapdragon 765G offers 3.7Gbps download speed & 1.6Gbps upload speed which is half the maximum theoretical 5G download & upload speed, it supports mmWave bandwidth (400MHz) and sub-6GHz bandwidth (100MHz). whereas, MediaTek Dimensity 1000 provides 4.7Gbps download speed and 2.3 Gbps upload speed and only supports sub-6GHz.
