Oneplus has launched the latest update for OnePlus Nord Oxygen OS 220.127.116.11, which brings a healthy serving of bug fixes and optimizations.
This time Oneplus has focused on only System updates. This update has fixed additional issues such as Overheating, delay of notifications, battery life and many more.
The incremental update is about 337MB and the Full update is 2.96GB.

- Reduced power consumption in specific scenarios.
- Fixed the issue of delayed notifications.
- Fixed the overheating issue in certain scenarios.
- Updated Android security patch to 2021.06.
- Improved system stability.
OnePlus also confirmed that OxygenOS codebase will be merging with ColorOS codebase resulting into faster upadtes.
Even though this may seem that OnePlus phones may use ColorOS (which is what OPPO uses for their phones and also OnePlus uses for the 9-series and onwards in China). Accordingly, Pete Lau said that OxygenOS will remain the operating system for global OnePlus devices outside of the Chinese market. He confirmed that both companies will continue to operate independently.
