OnePlus Watch – Coming Soon

Introduction

In an interview, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has officially confirmed the upcoming smartwatch from the company. The CEO confirmed that the development of a smartwatch was underway. He mentioned that the company was working with Google to bring improvements to Wear OS for a better interoperability experience.

• Lau said OnePlus is trying to improve connectivity between the Wear OS, Android TV and Android smartphones ecosystem to bring better device interoperability across devices.

•Pete Lau has said that there is a lot of room for the improvement in the wear OS. He wants to make the OnePlus watch to be the best in the market. To make this happen OnePlus has been working with Google to improve the connections between the Android ecosystem.

Features of OnePlus Watch: –

• It’s still not clear whether the OnePlus Watch will run on WearOS or a customized skin on top of WearOS. But the least confirmation which is available is that OnePlus watch may run on snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC. However, with this processor, we get more refined performance with enhanced efficiency.

•OnePlus watch may come in a special Cyberpunk 2077 edition as the OnePlus has partnered with Cyberpunk 2077 for the OnePlus 8T. so OnePlus Watch Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be a surprise.

• Leaks suggest that OnePlus watch is going to come with a circular dial. However, now it seems like OnePlus might not use the Wear OS entirely but top it up with its Oxygen-like skin for a better user experience.

Rumours about this smartwatch have been floating on the internet for a while now. It’s up to the company to launch this watch with any smartphone or have a dedicated launch event like for OnePlus band. We hope we get some fun features included in this smartwatch. Moreover, the OnePlus watch can be priced at $250$-280$. In India, it would cost around ₹20,000.
